Phil Ballard Support

Phil is a fairly new staff member of the Alice Springs Golf Club but has been a long time member. After an early battle with cancer in his professional life, Phil opted for a career change when he came out the other side, to be in a profession he loved and to be around golf as much as possible, the sport he loves and is quite good at. His ambition and energy has been a massive injection for the boys in the shed, and they have loved having Phil as part of their family the past few months. Phil had been in remission for almost 12mths…

Unfortunately late in July 2021, Phil was again diagnosed with a blood cancer and now a relocation to Adelaide is in order to meet this thing head on for the next 6-12mths. So Phil and his partner Grace (also recently starting a new job) are packing up everything and moving as fast as they can to take on this challenge, and we here at the Alice Springs Golf Club (staff and members) want to help these two young people to settle in and fully commit to what lies ahead, with less stress around financial concerns where possible.

On Friday September 10th 2021 the Golf Club will be holding a fundraiser, but for anyone who cannot attend for certain reasons, this go fund me is a perfect way to still contribute. Our aim is just to give Phil and Grace some breathing time when they get down in Adelaide, and allow them time to support each other. Thank you for any support.
