Phil Shapiro needs some help with medical bills
Donation protected
Phil Shapiro, who works at Takoma Park Maryland Library, is in need of a liver transplant - UPDATE! Phil received his transplant on April 28th! This GoFundMe has been set up to help cover both anticipated and unanticipated expenses. Phil is immensely grateful that MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (https://www.medstarhealth.org/services/medstar-georgetown-transplant-institute) is strongly experienced at doing liver transplants and the hospital has accepted him as a patient. Medical care of this kind can come with many costs and this GoFundMe will assist Phil in absorbing those costs.
