Who this will help
My Dad was my hero. The person who I looked up to more than anyone. To know him was to love him.
In January of 2021 my Dad was diagnosed with a type of brain cancer called gliosarcoma. One of the most aggressive forms of cancer. He fought hard for almost 3 full years. He endured countless MRIs, multiple rounds of chemo, radiation, 3 awake brain surgeries, and several experimental treatments. He never asked for sympathy, educated others about his condition to those who were unfamiliar, and would participate in any option he could with the hopes that one day his disease would help others.
Our family wishes to honor his memory by continuing to provide support for research of gliosarcoma. Money collected through this fundraiser will be donated in his honor to his neurosurgeon Dr. Al-Holou’s Lab- Advancing Brain Tumor Research: Identifying New Treatment Targets at the University of Michigan (337748).
Our family thanks you for your support in hopes that together we can find a cure.
