Philadelphia Bookstore Map
Donation protected
A group of booksellers are working on something very special for Philadelphia's booklovers! A map of all of our 50+ brick-&-mortar bookstores, painted and designed by Henry Crane, will be made available FREE throughout the city to anyone who wants one.
The map will measure 15”x25”, folded into 8 panels, at 6.5"x8". Each storefront will be represented by a 2"x2" watercolor, along with basic information and a descriptive paragraph about the business. The projected publication date is March 2023.
An initial run of 25,000, and a second run of the same quantity, will be distributed at libraries, coffee shops, visitor centers, universities, and bookstores.
The map is a grassroots effort to spotlight our city's many bookstores.
The Philly Bookstore Map Project is funded through donations and grants and is underwritten by our fiscal sponsor, Moonstone Arts Center.
We hope that you will support your local bookstores and donate!
Booksellers, please consider sharing our flier! Be on the look out for PBM organisers reaching out with promotional material along with more info on the project.
