Philip Bruenn aka: Skylar Hawkins was a beloved father, friend, animal lover, Eagle Scout, fraternity brother, entrepreneur, classic muscle car enthusiast, classic rock lover, and story teller in his community. He had a heart that was a diamond in the rough and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. But you had to listen to a tall tale first.

Unfortunately, Philip passed away Tuesday 3.21.23 unexpectedly and his family is left with the difficult task of planning his funeral and settling his estate. As they begin to navigate the process, they have quickly realized the financial burden that is ahead of them.

His loved ones have decided to create a memorial fund to help raise money for the funeral and estate expenses. Including handling Philips remains, last wishes, future memorial service and family expenses. They are reaching out to friends and family and even set up an online fundraising campaign to spread the word.

People from all over the community will miss Philip. They share memories of Philip's energetic story’s, his love for rock n roll music, dancing, and his infectious personality that always left them smiling or laughing.

His legacy lives on through the moments and stories that are shared, and his loved ones continue to honor his memory by keeping his spirit alive in their hearts.
