Philip and Caroline will 'Bike in Belize', to raise funds for the globally important region, Chiquibul National Park, which is currently being threatened by illegal poaching and deforestation. Tree species like mahogany are being smuggled abroad along with wildlife like the tapir and scarlet macaws.
We bike on 4th to 10th Feb, some 241 kms, rough it in the jungle and meet a few members striving to protect the forest and ensure its future - and riding hard from ridge to plateau, giving our time and legs for Friends for Conservation Development (FCD).

We will be directly contributing to the future of this critical Central American ecosystem. However, in some twisted, weird way, it will be fun - and certainly memorable and definitely a challenge.
