Philip Gefsky Memorial Fund

My father, Philip (Phil) Gefsky, recently passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. Phil was a longtime educator and coach at Mt. Lebanon School District. To honor his memory we are collecting donations to go towards his Mt. Lebanon school where he taught for many years. The funds will be used to build a playground buddy bench and/or other helpful kid-friendly school items that are needed.

Phil was known for his positive, optimistic personality and lover of people and life. He loved his family deeply and was a wonderful Father, Grandpa, Husband, Brother, Uncle, Cousin and friend to those lucky enough to call him a friend. Being a long-time educator, he impacted thousands of kids’ lives, and thoroughly enjoyed teaching and coaching which led to his longevity in his field of choice. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
