Philip Jewell Memorial Fund
In the early hours of Tuesday, June 1, 2021 my precious brother, Philip Jewell, life was cut short in an act of unforeseen and unexpected violence in his own home located in Huntersville, NC. The Huntersville Police Department has an open investigation into his and others death. At present this is what we know, over a period of 3 days, HPD has located the bodies of 3 men on the grounds of the trailer park in which Philip resided. Philip was found last evening, neighbors had contacted authorities to perform a well visit on my brother as he had not been seen nor his van moved in several days. Upon entering Philips home, they found him shot in the head and also found an individual they believe was the shooter of all 3 young men. The suspected shooter had turned the gun on himself inside Philips home as well. Unfortunately, the motive is truly unknown and may not ever be known.
Philip, 41, was born and raised in Martin County, Kentucky. Six years ago, he moved to Huntersville, NC working as a self employed electrician. Like many his age, and being self employed he did not have life insurance nor money set back for any final expenses. The family including his Mother and Father are completely distraught. Monetary funds to assist the family in the transport and burial of Philip back to Lovely, Kentucky are much needed. Please consider making an immediate donation to this cause so that we can bring Philip home to his Mother one last time.
