Phillip Acosta & Family

Hi my name is Robin and I am proud to be the bonus mother and Nana to a special family who Phillip has lived here since he was 3 years old and his family were born and raised here in our beautiful desert . Who recently just had a tragedy hit a few days ago. Phillip the sole provider for his wife and 4 kids was on his way from work to watch his oldest daughter play at her soccer game. When a car pulled out in front of him on Hwy 62 and caused him to crash into them. He is in the hospital with sever injuries but his doctors say he will recover in a few months and is very lucky to be alive. This family worked hard to buy their own home a couple years ago in 29 Palms. Phillip’s the sole income for his family and will be out of work for a few months according to his doctors. Their bills are roughly $2,500 monthly and they are very scared they will lose their home! Or at very least get so behind they won’t be able to survive or save what they worked so hard to achieve; their dream of owning their own home.

I’ve seen this community make miracles happen and that’s why I love this town. This family needs our support more than ever right now. To show the love for a hard working family who never asks for anything.
