Phillip Mock, an amazing husband and father
Donation protected
Hello all, my name is Tyler Heath and I am fundraising for Jessica Mock (my aunt) after the recent, tragic, and unexpected death of her husband, Phillip Mock (Tony). For anyone who thinks this could potentially be a scam, the stories can be found on wtoc.com and I will be doing an interview with them within the next couple of days. As stated, Tony was an excellent father of three children, grandfather of one, and an amazing husband. He was the type of person to consistently help those who are in need, even when they didn't ask for it. A helping hand is something that Tony offered continuously. His work ethic for his family was unmatched, and he made sure that his family was always safe. As a mechanic for over 30 years, he made sure thousands of people across the Southeast had a means of transportation. Tony was on his way to pick up his daughter, Isabelle, from work around 12AM of 10/27/2023. He noticed that there were people in the shoulder on the side of the Truman Parkway, and he made the decision to pull over to determine if they needed any help. He walked back to their car to ask them if any help was needed, and that is when he was senselessly shot and murdered. Tony died being a hero at the wrong place, at the wrong time. My aunt Jessica will need some assistance transitioning into this unknown, scary part of life, as well as their children. That is mainly what this fundraiser is for. Later on, it was determined that there was another victim, Shaliyah Collins. Her family has set up a Gofundme for her as well. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during these tragic losses.
