Hi, I am a close family friend and I am fundraising for the family of Phil van Santen.

It is with great sadness and disbelief that we announce the sudden and very unexpected passing of Phillip van Santen. Phil leaves behind his wife and partner of 21 years, Kristin and 5 amazing children. Ariella, Carter, Adyson, Logan and Travis. He also leaves behind his mother, Laura, father Leo, 3 brothers and sister in laws. He was also blessed to have grandchildren, beautiful nieces, nephews and a very long list of friends that adore him.

Phil's wife, Kristin, now faces the task of becoming the sole provider and is in need of any support we can give during this time of grieving and carving out a new way of life without him. The loss of her husband and love of her life, now creates a substantial financial burden. During this time, they will need assistance with the obvious unexpected cost of losing a loved one as they work out the intricate details of day-to-day life without Phil.

This loss is deeply personal, which makes us realize that there is no one that can ever make us feel the way he did...he was a super special guy, one we could always count on for a laugh, a hug or a big smile. Phil leaves an empty void in her life and the lives of all he loved.
