Phillips Station Fire Clean up and Rebuild

Donation protected
On the night of April 12, 2019 my mother, Carol Pearson, and I tragically lost our home. Many recognized our home that was located on hwy 50 and the entrance to Sierra-at-Tahoe ski resort. This property, known as Phillips Station, was a landmark to the area; and since the 1920's was the site of the monthly snow survey done by the Department of Water Resources. We are 6th and 7th generation on this land; our family was established here in the 1850's and played a significant role in forming El Dorado County and its incredible history. Those that had the opportunity to visit our home said it was like walking into a museum; it was filled with unique artifacts connecting our local and family history.  We have lost it all and are devastated to say the least! We are at a complete and total loss and have nothing left but our land. Like many others, we have been denied homeowners insurance because of the high risk location. Therefore, financially we are unable to move forward…WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are trying to raise $90(k) to clear the property of rubble and to rebuild a humble dwelling. PLEASE consider donating to help us, any amount big or small will directly go towards the cleanup and rebuild. THANK YOU so much for your consideration!
