Philly Tough Mudder For Parkinson's

Tax deductible
My mom was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease roughly six years ago. What was originally thought to be a pinched nerve in her arm, doctors soon informed her that she will be battling Parkinson's disease for the rest of her life. She is a tremendously courageous and driven individual. I have never heard a single complaint about the hand she has been dealt in this life. While medication has helped manage her symptoms, there still is no cure to this devastating disease. Most people associate Parkinson’s disease with its physically handicapping traits, however most people do not realize the cognitive/mental effect that this disease has on people over time. My family is fortunate with good health coverage that pays for the expensive medication to help with the symptoms of this disease. Medication improves her daily life, however there is still no cure.

I am putting together a team to compete in the Philly Tough Mudder on May 20th 2018. 100% OF ALL proceed and donations will go directly to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research. Please feel free to make any donation you can. No amount is too small!

We are still looking for additions to our team. If you would like to participate, please contact me at [email redacted] or sign up on toughmudder.com under the team name #PeggyTough

Thank you for all the support!
