Phil’s 40th Birthday Bummer : Replace Stolen Bike

Hi there everyone. Today (September 9th) is my partner Phil’s 40th birthday! He spent his birthday weekend mountain biking with our 10 year old son. An activity that both of them have recently really bonded over and has most certainly proven to be a long term hobby.

Yesterday morning, we packed up our things to drive home but when we got to our truck his mountain bike was gone! Someone had shown up in the middle of the night and sawn through his metal bike locking mount and stolen it! As I’m sure most of you know, these types of bikes are not cheap! I would really love to be able to replace the bike that was stolen so they can finish out the rest of this biking season that they both have been SO looking forward to!

It breaks my heart that this happened to such a wonderful guy on a birthday that was supposed to be a really special one. I keep saying “if only this person knew Phil”. If only they knew what a hard working, loving, generous family man he is. I keep thinking that if only they knew him, they would have never done it.

But nonetheless, here I am, asking my friends, family and anyone that has ever had the pleasure of knowing this sweetheart of a man if they’d be willing to show him some love and contribute a few bucks to help get him back out on the trails with our boy and turn this huge bummer of a situation around for his 40th.
