Phoebe & I need your help

Dear Friends;
I hope that you are well and enjoying the summer weather!
Phoebe and I need some help from our community right now.
As many of you know, it has been a rough few years for me; emotionally and financially.
I have been diligently looking for my next career opportunity and had some promising conversations while in Los Angeles a few weeks ago interviewing.
I am hopeful and positive about this next phase of my life.
While I was gone, my dog sitter, Vincent had Phoebe in an enclosed yard at his church. Aidan, a small neighborhood dog and his owner came to the fence and an altercation ensued. The clasp on the gate was broken and Phoebe was able to get through it.
He needed emergency vet care that required stitches and pain medication. The cost for this was $2,250 and he will require a few more visits to the vet which I expect to total near 3,000.
His owner is a low-income neighbor and I will need to cover all of the cost of his care.
She has also filed a report with SF Animal Care and Control which may result in fines or legal fees to keep Phoebe safe.
I love Phoebe and have done my absolute best to train and provide for her. Given the current situation, we need professional help. I have found a trainer through Koru K-9 that has experience with GSD/Malinois and is very knowledgeable on how to re-train and work with the breed. The cost of a package that includes 1 on 1 behavioral assessment/training for nine sessions is $1,900 and we'll likely need a few more.
I love animals, especially dogs, and this situation is devastating for me. The stress it has added to my current fragile life circumstances is overwhelming, yet I remain committed to my responsibility as a dog owner and resiliency.
With your help, I know I can get through this with increased knowledge, love and grace.
At this time, I am only sharing this with my direct community and ask that you do not re-post to any Social Media channels. If there is someone you think may want to contribute, please feel free to send them the GFM link.
Phoebe and I are very thankful for your support.
