Phoebe's "triforce" Long Island Move

At long last, our Phoebe  is moving from Berlin to Long Island, where she grew up, to be near her moms.  The family (F., 15, E., 12, and Jake the dog) has chosen the town of Wantagh, which has a tremendous special ed program, particularly great for autistic students.  Boxes are packed and are being picked up August 6 and the flight is booked for  August 16!
Let's help them out by taking some pressure off relocation costs.  Phoebe is adamant that folks only give if they are ABLE, and then only what they can give COMFORTABLY.   What can we accomplish by July 30?

Here are some of the expenses they're looking at:
Airline tickets $2,000
Rental car $900
Movers/shipping $2,000
Apartment start-up - 2 bedrooms (Phoebe plans to sleep in the living room) - est. $2,000/mo (first, last, and deposit = $6,000)
