Phoenix and Sol’s rebirth

Donation protected
Before this started, we had a simple life.
I was working a nice simple job, and my wife was on disability. Any money I made I declared so as the disability cheque would not be impacted… it is called an income cap.

A couple months ago, I had to take time off work for eye surgery. 2 months! Took in medical EI in hopes to keep rent and bills paid.

We had no idea till my wife got her first welfare cheque after I got my first lump of EI. Welfare took that whole amount out of her cheque. We stumbled to get rent covered. During July we had some issues and was going to be late for rent. Come August our landlord gave us a 10 day notice of eviction. We got the rent together with the help of welfare but it was after the 5 day grace period and the landlord said to move out and not accept the rent.

My name is Sol, my wife and I have recently been evicted from our home. We packed what we have, placed them in storage, then packed our three dogs
, two cats and a beta fish into our truck.
This fundraiser is to help us relocate to the Okanagan and restart our lives without the stress of a toxic home.
We will need to upgrade the truck to a Mobile home/RV along the way and they are cheaper on the mainland.
