Support Phoenix Charter Academy Chelsea - 3rd Annual Food & Clothing Fund!
Phoenix Charter Academy is asking for your support! Over the course of each school year, we strive to give our students and their families extra support by providing them with fresh food, clothing and household items. Phoenix goes above and beyond for its community - we are hopeful that you will support us in doing so this school year by donating today!
For the 2022-23 school year, we raised $4,000 and supported over 150 of our families. With the increase in cost of food, goods and number of students we serve, we are hoping to raise $5,000 this school year.
Your donation today will support:
- 4 Food Drives during the year - Thanksgiving, Christmas, February Vacation and April Vacation. Families receive custom food boxes depending on family size and need. We are proud to continue our partnership with P. Tavilla Co. of Chelsea! They graciously donate fresh produce to our food drives - including onions, potatoes, limes, peppers and cilantro to name a few! With the money raised we then supplement the food boxes with juice, rice, beans, pasta, chips, cookies, tortillas and MORE!
- Winter Clothing for our students including jackets, hats, gloves, scarves, socks and blankets. For many of our students, this is their first winter in this country!
- Baby supplies, clothing and food for our Parenting Scholars
- Home goods, supplies and food for students with housing insecurities
- Gift cards to Market Basket, Target and Walmart for families in need
Who We Are....
Phoenix Charter Chelsea is a small high school located in the heart of Chelsea, MA. Phoenix challenges resilient students from Chelsea, Everett, Lynn, Revere and greater Boston area neighborhoods with rigorous academics and relentless supports, so they take ownership of their futures and succeed in high school, college, and as self-sufficient adults. Phoenix Chelsea currently serves over 200 students ages 14-22 years old.
