Photography Final Major Project

Hi! My name is Rhianna, I am a BA (Hons) Photography student studying at The Northern School of Art.

I am in my third year of University and currently working towards my Final Major Project and degree show.

Photography is my passion and graduating with a photography degree is something I have worked towards for so long! Producing a high quality and meaningful body of work is so important to me.

For my FMP, I produced a body of work that focused around raising awareness on endangered animals and photographed them in a way that provoked an emotional connection with the viewer. This is a project so close to my heart, and I am so excited to present it to you at the degree show!

Unfortunately the costs involved with my final major project cost around £300 for accommodation and travel alone. Whilst this was well worth it to photograph the amazing animals I did - it is a lot on a student budget!

This isn’t including the costs involved in printing, framing & preparing my degree show, additional equipment needed and much more. I am currently in the process of this, and have already spent approximately £250. Again, this is so so worth it as I know this will benefit me for years to come and i’m so excited to share my degree show with you all - what I have worked towards for 3 years!

I decided to fundraise to help cover some of these costs and produce the best possible final body of work and degree show to help me with my career. Any donation no matter the size is greatly appreciated and will all go towards my fmp, degree and ultimately my photography career.
