Phung Family House Fire
Donation protected
To all the family, friends, neighbors, and individuals who read this post, I wanted to share an unfortunate incident that occurred to my fiancé’s family just four days ago.
On December 31st, 2019, her family’s home caught on fire due to an electrical event while her mother and two nephews were sleeping in the room. The fire quickly engulfed the house and took several hours to put out. Thankfully, her mother and the kids were rescued. The Phung family lost their home, belongings, and sense of stability and safety. Their beloved family dog passed away due to smoke inhalation during the fire. Along with their pet, the family lost 25 years’ worth of clothing and material possessions in the fire. The damage from the fire and smoke, combined with the water used to fight the blaze, has left their home destroyed. The home has been deemed a complete loss and is uninhabitable.
Thankfully, the family is physically okay, but mentally, emotionally and financially, it is going to take time and the support of everyone to deal with such a horrific tragedy. The occupants are currently displaced and working to build up the bare necessities. They will need assistance in the days ahead as emotional and financial hardship awaits them.
We invite you to donate toward the family’s recovery process as they move forward. Anything you can give is welcome and appreciated, and will go towards helping these family members move forward from this tragedy and to get back on their feet. Every bit will help and I know they will be so grateful for your kindness and generosity. Please share and spread the word!
I will be making Trang Phung the beneficiary of the funds. She is the youngest daughter of the Phung's and was a resident of the house.
Donations will go towards lodging, food, clothing, and restoration of the home if needed.
