Physical Therapy in Kenya

I have the privilege of returning to Kenya in August with a team of students from Azusa Pacific University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. This will be my third trip partnering with Living Room Ministries International (LRMI), an organization providing much-needed healthcare resources in rural Kenya.

Lord willing, our team will spend two weeks partnering with Living Room’s physical therapists to provide care for guests (patients) at Living Room’s two clinical locations, as well as through community outreach and home visits. This is the sixth year APU’s physical therapy program and Living Room have partnered together, and our team is excited to continue to develop this relationship. This trip provides an incredible opportunity for us to all learn together as we share experiences, brainstorm creative treatment interventions, and watch the Lord at work in Kenya.

My team and I would greatly appreciate your support through prayer as we prepare for this journey and the work He has called us to. Additionally, we are looking to raise funds to cover our daily expenses in Kenya as well as to purchase various supplies the Kenyan staff can use in their ongoing care of the guests being served.
