Physical Therapy Room for the Acorn Centre

Donation protected
The Acorn Centre which is a Special Class for Students with an ASD opened in KTCS in September 2012.

The aim of the class is to promote both academic and social learning. It is the ultimate aim of the Centre to include and support students into the mainstream classes. The curriculum is varied according to the needs of the students and includes daily living skills, home economics, swimming and many other varied activities.

As part of these aims, the Centre is looking to raise funds for a Physical Therapy Room to support the students. The room will be based within the Acorn Centre, but available to all students as the needs arise. The cost of the specialised equipment is very expensive, and this is one of a number of fundraising initiatives being undertaken.

KTCS Parents' Association has set up this fundraiser to coincide with World Autism Day on April 2nd, 2022.

All donations would be greatly received and thankyou in advance for your kind donations.
