Canadian physician’s financial hardship

Hi there,

This page is to help a GP on a prolonged medical leave of absence who is unable to make ends meet. In 2021, she was unable to continue practice and took leave to recover. This leave while repaying student debt was without disability coverage, and so led to insolvency. Now being uninsurable to-date, insolvent and not practicing, the option to borrow is not available to her.
