Picasso (aka Ruka) NEEDS SURGERY ON 3 BODY PARTS

Picasso (aka Ruka), a 3-year-old male, was found near a street in El Paso, Texas. Picasso was hungry, hair matted and covered in red paint. Once Picasso was groomed, it was apparent something was seriously wrong with his bones. So Picasso's foster and PAWS Team member Sandi took him to Pet Doctor in Chandler for x-rays; Dr. Luis recommended we schedule an appointment with Dr. Christopher Monarski with VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona located in Mesa. Dr. Monarski did more x-rays and a cat scan; the cost was $880, which PAWS paid. Picasso has many orthopedic issues, and Dr. Monarski feels the left elbow, right hip and left knee cap are the most significant.
