We have decided to do this amazing half marathon in London at night which should take between 4 and 6 hours so hoping to finish by 3am as this charity is close to our hearts . Our Dear Mum /Nan was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in April which she under went life saving surgery in London with her having to stay in intensive care for sometime and whilst in their she was also diagnosed with skin cancer as well and therefore had to under go surgery for this as well and now just had a skin graft to help heal this of which she has to travel to London every week for help in her recovery . If you have the pleasure of knowing our mum/nan you will no she is the most fun loving, energetic ,caring ,full of life and does anything for anyone and doesn't deserve to be fighting this horrible disease . She has so much more to give and has got so many more memories she would love to make with her friends and family and she won't give up without a fight !!! Having spent 4 months in and out of hospital we owe it to our NHS and Cancer unit near us which we would like the money to go to direct which is why we have set this page up rather than using the Cancer main one so we can deliver this money directly to the Viking Unit who have cared for so many of loved ones too c We also had the devastating news that one of our best friends was diagnosed with breast cancer at the same time . She has since had 2 operations to remove the breast and lymphs glands as it spread and once again is giving it her best shot at beating the disease . This woman has always put others 1st and is such an amazing friend and does anything for anyone wether she knows them or not . She truly is an amazing friend and I think everyone will agree. With these 2 amazing people and watching them suffer we feel its only right we do something to show them they are amazing . All we ask is that you can donate as little or as much as you can so that we can help people in the future to survive this awful disease that takes so many lives. THANK YOU XXXX
