Picnic Tables for Camp Ahbalufa and Beam Replacement

My name is Sean Cowan and I am a Life Scout in BoyScouts of America Troop 420. I’m writing to you today because I need your help to move forward and earn Eagle Scout rank. Very soon, I will start my Eagle Scout Service Project at Camp Ahbalufa. Camp Ahbalufa is a local campground used by many scout groups and local organizations. I will be building two picnic tables and coordinating the replacement of a pavilion beam that is rotting. I picked this project because of the place. Camp Ahbalufa means a lot to me. I have been on many campouts and days of fun there. I even had my first scout campout at Camp Ahbalufa. These improvements will allow future scouts to enjoy the camp as much as I have.

To accomplish this project I need to raise $1200.00. This will cover the cost of materials for picnic tables and labor for beam repair. Any additional funds raised above the needed $1200.00 will be used to cover food and water for all volunteers for the day and lastly be put back into Camp Ahbalufa for any further upkeep. Your support will go a long way in helping me create a lasting impact at Camp Ahbalufa.
