Piero DeLuca of MFS Quintuple Bypass Recovery

Hi, my name is Monique. I'm Evette DeLuca's twin sister and Piero DeLuca's honorary sister. Piero suffered a massive heart attack on 3/24/24. Within hours he underwent a quintuple bypass. Three of his arteries were 99% blocked. The other 2 were 90%+ blocked. It is a miracle he made it through, but as you well know, Piero is a force-there's nobody as funny, dedicated, unstoppable, or loyal as he is. And we're happy to say he's not done changing this world for the better.

He and Evette have a long road to recovery with many unknowns, but you know these two - there's nobody like them, though I wish there were. Whether through Evette's work in the non-profit and social justice space or Piero's dedication to the car community, they've consistently given their hearts, talents, and home to anyone who needed a break. And they're the most loving and consistent co-parents to my 3 children-there's no way I could have raised my twins without them.

They've exemplified lifelong positivity, strength, dedication, and love for my family and just about anyone who comes into contact with them. I'm asking you to help them now. Piero has a long road to recovery with many unknowns. He and Evette own their own business and will have to shoulder high medical costs and take unpaid time off from work to recover. Additionally, they care for Piero's mother and uncle who live with them. Any amount you can share will support Piero's medical costs, recovery, home rehabilitation, and self-care.
