Pigeon Palace Fundraiser

Hello! We are the Arndt Animal Center for Rehabilitation and Environmental Education, and our mission is to help animals through rescue and care as well as through educating the public about them!

We just moved to a beautiful new property in Venice, Florida, right on the Myakka River. It is beautiful, and the animals love it! The only problem is that we are trying to upgrade our Pigeon Palace- a 40-foot flight cage for the pigeons that will let them stretch their wings to their hearts' content.

We need to add hardware cloth to the enclosure to rat-proof it, as well as add mosquito netting to prevent diseases like avian pox and avian flu from affecting our flock.

Some of our pigeons are permanent ambassadors with us, meaning that they will live with us the rest of their lives and will make a difference through education of the public at different events and through our online platforms.

Some of our pigeons are up for adoption! Pigeons make surprisingly good pets- they can be sweet, sassy, and excellent companions.
