Pigs in the Woods Rehoming Service

We are the Rehoming Team with Pigs in the Wood Sanctuary. Although we would love to take in more pigs at our sanctuary we are sadly full. However, because we get asked on a weekly basis to help pigs in need, we run a national Rehoming Service. We advertise pigs in need on our social media pages, on our website, and through a network of contacts across the country. We discuss all aspects of rehoming to make sure the right decision is made for the welfare of the pigs and we help with transport to new homes when possible. We ask for a suggested minimum donation from both parties (except for sanctuaries and rescues) and if we provide transport, those costs to be covered. Pigs are however not cheap animals to look after, or transport, and we need to raise money to help fund transport and care costs for pigs who don't have the luxury of a home to pay for their needs. We've helped pigs travel cross country before, but to do this safely and comfortably for the pigs is not cheap!

In order to be able to help more pigs who need care and transport, we want to raise money to fund these things. If a pig has a home offer the other side of the country, we want to be able to make it happen. Pigs are loving, intelligent creatures and deserve a home where they can live the best life possible.

We also ask for those who we do help to rehome their pigs to make a donation, and they can do that here as well.
