PINC's Fundraiser for Shaver Fire Department

Tax deductible
On September 4, 2020, the Creek Fire started near Big Creek, California and the Shaver Lake Fire Department responded along with many other agencies.  The Shaver Lake Fire Department is staffed by twelve volunteer firefighters who respond to fire, medical, and vehicle calls in the Shaver Lake area year around. These men and women work tirelessly, without pay, to keep our community safe.  And right now, they need our help.

The department’s only rescue vehicle was damaged in the fire, and the department Chief’s vehicle was also damaged and is now inoperable. Additionally, the department needs to purchase new equipment and repair/replace old and damaged equipment.   And tragically, three members of the Shaver Lake Fire Department have lost their homes while they were out fighting the fire.

The money raised will assist with replacing and repairing damaged vehicles and equipment, as well as providing funds to purchase food, water, and other resources for the five volunteer fire companies currently in the area fighting the fire.  Additionally, the funds will help provide support for the three Shaver Lake Fire Department firefighters who lost their homes.

100% of donations will be given to Shaver Lake Fire Department and the members who lost their homes in the Creek Fire.
