Pineapple Family, one of our own, NEEDS OUR HELP! This is likely the most trying time of Ashley & Dewayne Steele's young life. Ashley was found unconscious, 2 weeks ago, by her daughter. With her history of issues with seizures, for years she has taken meds to keep it manageable. Unfortunately, this episode has put her in the ICU on a ventilator for the last 14 days (7-12-23). She's showing signs of brain activity and opening her eyes, which is what the doctors need to continue stabilizing her, but RECOVERY IS FAR FROM OVER, at this time. As of Wednesday the 12th of July, they found a tumor on her left frontal temporal region of her brain, that will have to be removed for her to live a normal life after recovery. So, she will be undergoing brain surgery in the next few days.
As you can imagine, Dewayne and Ashley are incurring medical bills that are beyond expensive....$75K a day in the ICU & $125K per MRI, and she's had 4 MRI's SO FAR. And the nightmare isn't even close to over. Help us raise money to help them in this unimaginably trying time AND WITH ASTRONOMICAL MEDICAL BILLS.
