Pini future is in our hands

Pini future is in our hands, he will either live or die, it all depends on our response. If we bring him $156,700, we have given him a chance to live, like other 11-year-old boys. If we don’t, we prefer not to finish the sentence.
Two years ago, Pini was a regular 8-year-old who learnt, played with his friends and had a bright future ahead of him in Cheder in Eretz Yisroel. Suddenly, disaster struck. The dreaded illness was discovered behind his right eye, and his life was turned upside down. As a resident of Eretz Yisroel, he has the benefits of government health insurance and he immediately started a round of treatment. He had to stop going to Cheder and stop his playing with his friends, but at least they could hope for light at the end of the tunnel. At the time, a short trip to America was deemed medically necessary, to undergo a treatment not yet available in Eretz Yisroel. That treatment was successful, and most of it was even covered by the social security system in Eretz Yisroel.
Boruch Hashem, Pini responded well and his family started to feel optimistic about a complete yeshua, when another problem arose and their hopes were once again dashed. On March 10 of this year, Pini had another series of tests following one of the rounds of treatments, when the doctors discovered a new problem, a new life-threatening illness arrived on their plate. Medulloblastama is a rare condition, and in Pini case it had metastasized to the brain stem and was in danger of reaching the spinal column. That would cause irreversible damage to Pini and his young life, even if it could be saved, would be permanently stunted. A full body MRI was ordered and the rare diagnosis was confirmed, and now Pini could not even continue his courses of treatments before taking care of this new problem.
Due to the rarity of this condition, the doctors in Eretz Yisroel did not have a solution available for Pini and, by their recommendation, the only cure was available in America. By their instruction, Pini has to be flown here immediately to receive this urgent treatment, in a sterile room in Somerset NJ, where the resources are available to bring him back to life. Treatment must start as soon as possible and the doctor cannot start the treatment before he has received the money.
After negotiations with askanim, they managed to lower the costs of the treatment to $156,700, but that money must be delivered immediately, there is no time to waste.
As we started in this letter, there are two paths in front of us; we can either leave Pini to die from this illness, or we can provide him with the funds to obtain this treatment and grant him life. Consider this 11-year-old and his life and please be generous with your contribution. It is a Yiddishe life at stake, one of our brothers, and the need is immediate.
