Pinkie St Peters Out of School Club

Hi, my name is Suzy and I am fundraising for Pinkie St Peters Out of School Club. The club is a non profit charity that provides out of school care for children who attend Pinkie St Peters Primary school before and after school as well as to these children during school holidays and other children in Musselburgh.

Today a group of teenage kids entered the grounds of the school and stole outdoor toys that the club had worked hard to buy as well as vandalising an inflatable assault course the club had organised for the children. All in all they stole between £500-£600.00 worth of resources. Due to the club being a non profit they do not have an endless supply of money to replace the toys stolen and everyone at the club is devastated.

As a mother whose children attend the out of school club I can say that it is a vital service that allows many to continue to work whilst ensuring their children are cared for in a supporting and caring environment.

As it is the summer holidays this event is even more upsetting for the club as they have lost a lot of the resources they would use to allow the children to have a fun and educational time at the club.

I know that times are tough for everyone just now but if you can spare anything at all, it would be greatly appreciated. Any money that is raised would be put towards replacing the resources that have been taken.
