It's been a month since we've had to temporarily close the doors on our brick and mortar shops. As many of you can relate, the unprecedented nature of this time has surfaced a wide range of emotions from anxiety to fear to heartbreak. When I opened the doors to our East Village location thirteen years ago, my mission was to provide a customer gifting experience that elicited inspiration and love. I wanted our shops to become a happy place, a safe haven, a whimsical escape for customers. And, what I wouldn't give to provide that retreat for you right now.
When this storm settles and the sun rises again (because it will), we want to be there with our doors wide open, welcoming you back with a smile and a dose of whimsical fun. But, as you can imagine in the present moment, we are faced with many uncertainties. We are running out of resources to pay our rent, utilities, and payroll, and we want to ensure we have enough to reopen once we make it through. As each day passes, we become more in need of immediate support.
If you can give any amount, we would be so grateful. All donations will help support our team and the general overhead costs of our four store locations. We realize that money is tight right now, so please know that there are other ways to support us and other small businesses if you're not able, such as shopping online or purchasing gift cards for friends and family to brighten their days.
Thank you for being the bright spot on our darkest days and allowing us to be a part of your life. You are so loved! I'm confident that we will be back together soon, celebrating the little things. xoxo
