Thank you to everyone that has reached out over the last several hours. This has been like a nightmare we can’t wake up from. As some of you may know Dillon’s parents house caught fire last night. Thanks to Sasha (Kim and Ron’s dog) they woke up with enough time to safely get out of the house. A house that they’d built about 30 years ago, made a home of, raised four boys, and continued working on to make it their dream home.

But this house also raised so many other children, my niece and nephews, cousins, friends, and myself. This house has felt like home to so many other than us, that held so many priceless memories, and it’s heartbreaking and earth-shattering to sit by helplessly and watch the flames engulf something we’ve watched these strong, amazing human beings work so hard for. I’m thankful they’re safe, that we’re all safe. Because walking out of our apartment to see massive flames on top of the hill, I feared the worst. Some of you have asked what you can do to help and we really appreciate that. Ron and Kim have lost everything and need help rebuilding their lives. Anything you can donate will mean the world to these amazing people who have helped so many of us throughout the years.
