As some of you know, I'm Pinky the Founder and Executive Chef of Pinky & Red’s restaurant
and Coffee E-Commerce Brand, originally located on the UC Berkeley’s campus in the MLK student union building; we closed our doors March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are now an online site. I was diagnosed with colon cancer in August 2020. I cannot describe the feeling that comes over you when you receive a diagnosis like that, but what I can tell you is it’s a shock to your entire body with the biggest shock attacking your brain. My mind shut down, and I wanted to go it alone. I apologize for not being more present. I need your help and support as you walk with me through my chemotherapy I'm so grateful for any way you can help. I hope that you will walk hand-in-hand with me through the next steps of my stage 3c colon cancer journey, and my medical triumphs!
