Pioneering a New Culture of Aging in Armenia

AHAOP's (Association of Healthcare and Assistance to Older People)is a non governmental organization located in Yerevan, Armenia focused on providing adult day care services to seniors.

AHAOP is currently the only center in Armenia focused on the development of gerontology and geriatrics services.

AHAOP's Longevity Center is a specialized innovative day center, which ensures a dignified, healthy, active and harmonious longevity for 63+ year olds with its life-changing programs.

The majority of funds donated to AHAOP will be used to subsidize the cost of services for all visitors (our services are 100% free for all visitors), to increase the number of visitors within the program and to increase the number of services provided. We also want to use the funds to hire more specialists (occupational therapists, physiologists, social workers). The funds will also allow us to continue our current projects and ensure that they remain without interruptions.

Our goal is to not turn anyone away.

Thanks to you, we'll be able to continue providing older adults with a safe place to go instead of staying at home alone while their families are at work. It’s important for seniors and others to avoid being isolated by their age or by their disability. At AHAOP Longevity Center, older adults have the opportunity to connect and interact with others and engage in fun and stimulating activities keeping their functional status and cognitive health.
