Johnny O'Donnell passed away on January 20, 2019. Those who knew him loved him because of his magnetic personality. Whether it was his sass, his sarcasm, or his wit..... He was certainly one of a kind.
Johnny loved his family and had an amazing bond with his mother, Maria and his sister, Hannah. He also had many close friends. If you knew Johnny then you know these are the relationships that he cherished. He had a way with people. Working in both hospitality and retail he met new people all the time and even they would become his friends. He knew how to make you laugh and for some of us he even knew how to make us cry. No matter how you met him, he likely left an impression.
Johnny was also an amazingly kind soul. He was humble at his core and always wanted the best for people around him.
He was the kind of friend who would call you "grandma" and then give you the shirt off his back. He once walked up to man digging in a trashcan for food near his apartment and handed him $20. That was Johnny. He was compelled to give.
We are raising money for immediate funeral services for Johnny. The family would like to invite friends and family to a visitation and service. Any additional funds raised after funeral costs ($5000) will go directly to his mother. We hope that you will feel compelled to give.... just like Johnny was.
Rest Peacefully dear Johnny. You are so loved and will greatly be missed.
