Pip Hare, Vendée Globe entrant, RMYC member support

Dear RMYC members,

Pip Hare has shared this video specifically for you, as members of RMYC! Her endeavours to make a second attempt to enter and complete the Vendée Globe race are staggering, and being based in Poole with an all British support team, it was felt that the RMYC membership would be an ideal place for fundraising, given the excellent sailing reputation of the club.

Pip has been granted honorary membership to the RMYC, which she is delighted anbout, and the club will be watching and sharing her journey right through to her return to Poole after the race.

Dear Supporters,

You have always been a part of my story and your support over the past four years of my Vendée Globe journey has already helped our team to achieve significant success. This has never been an easy path and your belief in me and my team and what we can do bolsters me every step of the way.

We have set up this donation page to help us continue to develop and grow as a team, ensuring we can keep moving forwards while securing the remaining sponsorship to deliver an incredible Vendée globe race.

My team does not exist to make a profit – this has never been my goal – we exist to deliver a high-performance British entry to the Vendée Globe race, to promote the sport of ocean racing to a wider community, to offer development opportunities to those coming into the industry, and to inspire others to achieve their goals. All funds raised go to running the team and improving performance. We must raise our own funding to compete and to excel.
