PIPER VS MELANOMA

Hi everyone, My name is Shaelee & I am raising funds for Piper's battle against skin cancer.

Piper is 20 years old, a studying / soon to be nurse, who has unfortunately been diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma.

Anyone who knows Piper, knows that she is the light of everyone's life, a great daughter, sister and an even better friend.

Piper had a little insignificant mole grow on her leg just 3 years ago.

She had noticed it previously and thought to have it removed as it was ugly, however as life goes on & Piper being the busy gal she is, forgot about this - until the mole began to bleed on it's own.

Piper immediately booked a doctors appointment to have the mole removed and biopsied.

With 4 stitches and an infected wound site, Piper was back at the doctors a couple of days later to hear the shocking results of Malignant Melanoma.

Piper has been in surgery over night, with more of her skin needing to be cut out, replaced with a skin graft, as well as checking her lymph nodes to see how far the cancer has spread.

This is all extremely costly, which has put pressure on Piper to use money that was saved for holidays & fun 20 year old activities.

Over $7,000 to stay in a hospital bed for 2 nights, much more for the surgery and potential upcoming treatments.

We are not expecting any donations; however even the tiniest bit goes a long way.
