Pistols April Challenge
As most of you know, I have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness—Lung Cancer.
But I am not going down without a fight!
Through this journey, I have been incredibly moved by the dedication and compassion of the amazing staff and volunteers at Cheltenham Oncology Department. To show my gratitude and give back, I want to raise funds for Hope For Tomorrow, a charity close to our hearts.
Hope for Tomorrow helps the NHS to bring cancer services closer to patients with mobile cancer care units, making their lives that much easier at a difficult time.
My challenge:
Throughout April, while undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy, I will either:
- Walk a mile a day (four laps around the Pounds Cricket Field), or
- Cycle five miles through the lanes of Frocester and Coaley.
This will be tough, but with your support, I know I can do it.
To my friends at Frocester, Frocester CC, and most importantly, my family—your love, support, and kindness during this time have been overwhelming. The messages, the hugs, the knowing smiles—each one has meant the world to me.
A special thank you to my rock, Jane.
I love you all.
Please donate if you can, share this with others, and let's make a difference together!
With love,
Pistol
