Pitch In to Strikeout Corapci's Battle with Kidney Cancer

We kindly ask for your support in helping my brother, Jason Corapci, as he is battling Advanced Stage 4 Kidney Cancer.

On June 20th, Jason was hospitalized with what he thought was severe flu and dehydration. Thank God that day led him going into the hospital. After a couple of chest and abdomen scans the Dr's found two masses on his right kidney. He was then transferred to UCI Medical to run a couple more tests and blood work. After spending 7 days in the hospital, the confirmed diagnosis was Kidney Cancer. It was a gut punch to say the least- How, When, Why? Cancer can turn anybody's life upside-down the moment a diagnosis is declared. As you can imagine the emotions go in waves, but Jason is ready to fight. He will begin Immunotherapy in combination with a targeted drug treatment immediately.

If you are visiting this page you have either played for him, played with him, or against him at some point the past 35+ years. Or even luckier if you have had your child play for him. Every day he teaches young players how to cope with failure and how to overcome struggle on a daily basis and now he is going to have to take his same advice to kick this cancers A**. And we all know Corapci’s inner strength, mental toughness, grit, resilience and determination will help him fight.

Jason has made an impact on so many members in our community. And I think it’s time for us to give back to him, even though he didn’t want me to set up this site in the first place. I told him and Jenny they need to embrace the love and good will of others and as his sister I will be taking charge whether they like it or not =) Your encouragement and assistance during this challenging time means the world to his family. We appreciate any donations to help fund his medical expenses and any other related expenses that will arise. Let’s come together to give him hope and strength in this fight.
