Support student entrepreneurs in pitching their ideas at the Innovate New Mexico™ Student Pitch Competition!
STC.UNM and the UNM Innovation Academy is hosting its 3rd Idea Pitch Competition on April 25. This time we are expanding the event to include any university students from the state of New Mexico creating the “Innovate New Mexico™ Student Pitch Competition”. We invite you to join us to make this a community initiative and to help recognize our student entrepreneurs in the state. Pitch competitions are opportunities for aspiring student entrepreneurs to present their innovative ideas for products, services or technologies in 60-90 second presentations before entrepreneurs, investors, and business professionals in the community.
We are seeking donations for prize money for the students.
Students will submit a 60-90 second elevator pitch video outlining an idea for a new product, service, project or solution; social (not for profit) and for profit. The videos will be uploaded and a panel of successful entrepreneurs and business leaders from the community will judge all candidates in both categories. Finalists will be invited to the live Pitch Competition on the evening of April 25, 2016 where the audience will vote for the top winners. Tops winners will receive prize money. Prizes will depend on the amount of donations and sponsorships received. If you are student interested in participating, please submit your application and video at: https://stc.unm.edu/epc/,

Student Testimonial – “Something I really liked about the competition was that it was accessible. [... ] STC’s competition is accessible for UNM students who are beginning entrepreneurs. And of course the resources […] offered to all finalists after the competition ended were pretty nice too.”
