Pittman Baby Adoption
Donation protected
Dustin and I have been so thankful to have had Sheena and Ross as amazing friends of ours for a little over four years. Through this time, they have been a blessing in our lives and we thank God every day that our paths crossed. Sheena and Dustin met via work at Devon Energy, and Sheena hosted our baby shower for Dustin’s work group. Sheena and I became instant friends through our interaction at the shower. She was so incredibly supportive of me from the moment I met her, and I knew from that instant she was someone very special.
We have been praying for several years now that they would know the joy of parenthood as we have seen how great they have been with our own son, Beckham. They have enormous hearts, are truly kind people, and want to be able to share their love with a child who needs them. We have observed them face the challenge of infertility with strength and grace that is truly inspiring. That being said, the time has come and a new door has opened for them… ADOPTION!
Please take a moment to read the Pittman’s story below. Adoption is an amazing, exciting, somewhat scary at times process; it also can be financially heavy. Sheena and Ross would be so incredibly thankful for any donation, no matter how big or small. Thank you so much for helping these wonderful people get to experience something truly lifechanging.

“We have been praying for a baby for years, waiting for God’s perfect timing and we believe this is our year. After being married for over ten years, we have shared a lot of love between us, but we’ve always longed for a child. Over the years, we have watched others grow their families and even though we were happy for them we still had a deep longing for a baby of our own. But clearly it was not our time.
We have undergone several grueling fertility processes without any success. We have always had this inkling to adopt, whether we had our own biological children or not. We simply did not know our adoption journey would progress as quickly as it is. We are beyond excited and anxious to see the Lord’s plan unfold. We believe this is our year.
Last spring, we sent off for information from several different agencies within Oklahoma and the United States. We read through many pamphlets and some pretty amazing success stories. In the end, we chose to work with the Catholic Charities of OKC. After our initial meeting with their director, we left her office knowing 100% without a doubt this is where the Lord had called us. This was the first week of December 2016. Fast forward to today, we have been told there are two babies that need a loving adoptive family and we are being considered.
We have such an amazing support system: our parents, families, and friends are just as excited as we are. With the progression of the adoption, we are so thankful for every single one of you who have helped us on our journey. Please keep the prayers coming. Please pray for everyone in the journey, and keep in mind that while we are going to find love through this process, someone else is feeling a loss. Ask that the Lord wraps the birth mom in love and comfort as she makes the most selfless decision to place her child for adoption.”
