Pittsburgh Pirate fans demand change! Billboard Campaign
Donation protected
The Pittsburgh Pirates bring SHAME to the City of Pittsburgh!
Join us for a grass roots movement to call out the Pirates ownership and management group through a North Shore area billboard campaign. Ticket boycotts and internet campaigns are simply not working, it's time for embarrassment. Ideally, billboard(s) would lead to local TV/media/newspaper coverage which would certainly make it to the C-suite of 115 Federal Street.
$9,100 would fund 4 billboards for a 4-week period around the City. Specific billboard/location, graphic design and content is TBD depending on amount raised (photo is simply a concept for this site only, actual design would need to be legally vetted while being equally impactful). Obviously, 100% of the proceeds to this fund will go towards billboard costs.
This is OUR team, not his!

The Pirates have been a civic institution in the great city of Pittsburgh for 143 years.
Through decades of corrupt ownership, mismanaged front office & field level operations, disasterous player development, trades, and Latin American development, this once proud baseball club is the laughing stock of Major League Baseball.
In the last 30 years, this organization has made a trip to the MLB playoffs a total of 3 times, winning only once in 2013. Their combined winning percentage over those 30 years is just .448 (486 games under .500).
The current front office, which was hired following the 2019 season, now has two 100 loss seasons, 3 last place finishes and a combined winning percentage of .415 (120 games under .500) over their tenure. Despite this horric performance, they all remain at the helm of this sinking ship.
Pirate fans are starved for change and winning baseball! We're demonstrating this by staying home, the Pirates have ranked 2nd to last in National League attendance in 4 of the last 5 years. However, this alone has not been enough to affect change. More is needed! Your contributions to the cause are greatly appreciated!
