Pittsford Crew for Community

PITTSFORD CREW FOR COMMUNITY EVENT 2022

On Sunday, May 1, 2022 our varsity and novice rowers and coxswains will be at the Pittsford Crew Boathouse (2800 Clover Street, Pittsford)  to raise money and awareness for not only Pittsford Crew, but for Pittsford Food Cupboard and we are so excited! Our rowers will be rowing on erg machines at this event that will take place from 12:00pm until 4pm. Come cheer us on, check out our facilities, and meet our awesome coaches!

 

What I'm Raising Money For

Because Pittsford Crew is a non-profit organization and not supported by the local school districts, all of our boats, rowing equipment, launches, motors, boat lifts, enhancements, upgrades, repairs to our docks, and maintenance to our facilities are made possible by the fundraising efforts of our rowers, families, and community! Also, because our rowers care about helping other organizations in our community, they have chosen the Pittsford Food Cupboard as the charity they want to support this year.

 

Why You Should Give

Crew is the ultimate team sport, and our athletes learn not only the commitment of teamwork but integrity and a sense of community. The values learned through the sport go beyond the water and extend into the community, in the spirit of giving back and helping others. Pittsford Crew is dedicated to furthering the endeavors of The Pittsford Food Cupboard by donating 15% of the proceeds raised at this event.
