Pizza & Layoff Consolation Fund

The organized workers of HuffPost are saddened and enraged to hear that our colleagues under the BuzzFeed umbrella have been hit with layoffs. In addition to Complex employees who are being laid off as part of the sale to Ntwrk, BuzzFeed is laying off 16% of its remaining workforce. Now more than ever, workers in the media industry need to stick together and take care of one another.

Please consider donating to HuffPost Union's pizza fund to help ease the transition for our friends at BuzzFeed and Complex. The Union will circulate a form so that affected workers can sign up to receive funds. Watch this space for updates.
