Ukrainian truck driver Illia was seriously injured

my name is Anastasiia Garza and I am daughter of Illia Shemchuk. Yesterday evening one of our drivers, Illia Shemchuk got into an accident where another truck hit him in Gurnee, IL. Illia has lost part of his foot and multiple broken bones, like vertebrates on his back, thighs, shins, and hands. Part of his right lung has collapsed, pancreas is stitched up, spleen has been removed, and part of a colon has been removed. He is intubated and can’t breathe on his own—every minute matters. Due to the severe injuries Illia sustained, a long recovery is expected.
