Bataan Memorial Death March

Donation protected
On 15 March 2020, I would like to participate in the Bataan Memorial Death March at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. It is a 26.2 mile course where participants ruck 35 pounds, meant to honor service members who lost their lives defending the Philippine Islands during World War II. Hosted by the Army, the Bataan Memorial Death March is notorious for its strenuous hills and blistering heat in the middle of the desert.

In order to attend, I need to raise $850 to cover registration and travel expenses (a plane ticket and lodging) for the event. More specific and broken down financial expenditures are listed at the bottom. Due to registration deadlines, I hope to reach $110 by 8 February and $850 by 1 March.

Being able to participate in this infamous march would be a dream come true and would mean a lot to both me, my friends who are attending, as well as the service members it honors.

I greatly appreciate any donation or contribution you may be able to give, no matter the amount!

For more information, you can visit the Bataan March official site at Bataan Website
