I AM SEEKING YOUR IMMEDIATE HELP
As some of you already know, Lane's father has not returned him home... Lane went to Las Vegas to visit him on July 19. Jack/Echo and I have a written agreement that he would fly back home on Aug 23, but that did not happen. He is claiming it is because I did not send Lane's birth certificate so that he could board the plane. I have called Southwest Airlines and McCarran Airport, both said it is not required for a minor to board (only if the child would be unaccompanied in the airport. An adult with a valid ID becomes the child's ID until he passes through security, then his passes is all he needs). Jack has now filed false CPS allegations against me claiming neglect. I am not afraid of these reports, they have no merit. I have been in touch with CPS, done an interview and home walk through. My only mistake was not having a parenting plan in place before this happened. Jack and I seemed to be on good terms and were talking about setting up a plan we were all happy with. Everything was fine up until the day before Lane was due home, then Jack cancelled Lane's returning ticket.
As of now, Jack has cut off all communication with me, he attempted to delete Lane's Facebook (which I now have access of since I created it), and has disconnected Lane's phone. I have not spoken to my son since Tuesday. Lane seems to think the courts and state have already decided Lane is to stay there. I was unable to speak to Lane without being on speaker phone and was interrupted by Jack's wife who proceeded to hang up on me. They have begun the process of enrolling him into school there....
TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE. I need help. I need resources, contacts, phone numbers, letters about my parenting and the amazing child Lane is. Mostly, I need financial help obtaining a lawyer or need to find one interested in ProBono work. I need $2-5,000 up front for the attorney...which I have an appointment with one tomorrow. Jack has already put in a request for Lane's school transcripts. Once this happens and Lane starts school there, he can establish residency thus making it even more difficult to get Lane home.
Please, please, please...help bring Lane home to Washington. Thank you <3
